Monuments of the Unknown

Two explorers approach a monumental desert doorway — The Buried Transit by BBairt

They left no explanation. Their machines remained.

Monuments of the Unknown is an original BBairt science-fiction art collection exploring encounters with immense alien infrastructure and the mystery of its absent builders. Explorers arrive with instruments, provisional names, and questions that grow larger with every discovery.

From orbital engineering to buried installations and machines on distant worlds, each artwork offers a separate encounter with technology beyond human understanding. The collection shares a spirit of exploration, deep time, and uneasy wonder; the relationship between its monuments remains an open question.
