Shin-Hanga Sci-Fi Visions — original BBairt collection artwork

Shin-Hanga Sci-Fi Visions brings together seventeen original BBairt artworks in The Aetherion Monogatari: a quiet, interconnected science-fiction travelogue where ancient traditions live beneath unfamiliar skies.

Across lantern-lit cities, snowy passes, floating citadels, and waterside shrines, pilgrims and couriers move between communities linked by trade, ritual, and memory. Humans, alien travelers, and machine-born citizens share festivals and everyday comforts. Even beneath enormous celestial structures, a bowl of noodles or a small act of kindness can become the heart of the story.

When the Old Passages Stir

Ancient gateways show signs of returning. Monks listen to their harmonics, archivists preserve charts of the Skywell, and the Skybound Clans arrive across the Aetherion Sea. Beneath the annual Festival of the Twin Moons, stories of the Moon-Tide Accord keep the turning cosmic cycle alive in communal memory.

At the Inn of the Two Moons, shrine keepers are said to watch over a passenger who neither ages nor wakes. Above the harvest fields, a silent Visitor crosses the sky. Are the gates welcoming something back—or awakening something that was meant to remain asleep? The visions preserve clues and rumors, leaving the answer open.

The artworks draw inspiration from the atmosphere, light, weather, and composition of early twentieth-century Japanese Shin-Hanga prints, reimagined through grand-scale science fiction. These are original BBairt designs and stories; the products are contemporary photo paper posters and desk mats.
