Salmon Surge in Seattle

Briny Behemoth breaches into the Emerald City, claiming Seattle as a spawning ground on an impossible scale. Cars scatter beneath the salmon kaiju’s mighty leap, and even the Space Needle is dwarfed by the visitor from the water.

Part of The Great Emergence, the growing wave of kaiju encounters across the world. No confirmed cause unites the reports, and this creature’s appearance is one piece of the larger mystery.

Alternate artwork: A different visual interpretation of the same Salmon Surge in Seattle encounter, depicting the salmon as a colossal coho. It shares the event’s story and is not a separate chapter.

Connected Encounters

Coastal Upheaval: Harbors, shorelines, and waterside cities become meeting points between urban life and colossal visitors. Reports from these places raise the same question: what is bringing the wild into the streets?
