Skylock Citadel – Photo Paper Poster

Skylock Citadel – Photo Paper Poster

Part of the Legends of the Veilrift Collection

Suspended in the breath between realms, Skylock Citadel is not held by physics, but by vow.

This floating bastion was once the anchor point of the Veilward Accord, tethered to the skies with arcane chains and gravity runes etched into the mountain’s heart. When the Accord shattered, Skylock remained—its halls sealed and its magic humming quietly through cold stone and forgotten towers.

Birds still circle its spires. Dreams still whisper its name. Some believe Skylock was the final refuge of the pactbound mages who fought beside Queen Althera in the first days of the unraveling. Others say it is a prison for something too dangerous to name—held aloft not to protect it from us, but to protect us from it.

The chains do not simply hold it in place. They hold it closed.

Connected Legends

Queen Althera is directly tied to the pactbound mages associated with Skylock’s final days. What they sealed inside the citadel—and whether Althera knew the truth before her exile—remains one of the Veilrift’s unanswered mysteries.
