Pandaemonium in Pudong

Morning light reaches Pudong as Panquake awakens and lumbers between Shanghai’s towers. The Huangpu River ripples with every step. A creature associated with harmony becomes a force of havoc when the city stands in its path.

Part of The Great Emergence, the growing wave of kaiju encounters across the world. No confirmed cause unites the reports, and this creature’s appearance is one piece of the larger mystery.

Connected Encounters

Eastern Encounters: From Tokyo to Shanghai, Seoul, and Manila, familiar animals become impossible visitors. Their appearances form one regional strand of a mystery that reaches far beyond any single city.
